	Proximus Diamond Games: Justine withdraws <BR>19/02/2004: <BR> <BR>Justine was forced to withdraw from the tournament. Nevertheless, she&#8217;s rather fond of the Proximus Diamond Games. That&#8217;s why she waited till the last minute to withdraw. <BR> <BR>It was a very tough decision. I really waited till the last moment to decide. For a couple days now, it was clear to my husband and coach that I wouldn&#8217;t play today. Yesterday eveing, I had a long conversations with my doctors who told me that I would have to recover several weeks if I made a mistake this week. <BR> <BR>I have respitoral problems. I feel a lot weaker and tired now. It&#8217;s hard for me to accept it, but there&#8217;s nothing I can do about it. I don&#8217;t want to make the same mistake again as I did on Roland Garros two years ago, I felt the same then and I played, but it didn&#8217;t pay off&#8230;&#8221; <BR> <BR>Justine&#8217;s fans aren&#8217;t very pleased with the news ofcourse. They had ordered numerous tickets already. <BR>I&#8217;m really sorry for my fans, I know that they were waiting impatiently until I would have to play. I really wanted to take part in this tournament, beacause it&#8217;s always fun playing for your own crowd. But I have to be honest with myself, it&#8217;s a matter of having respect for me and for my fans. Two years ago, I could never have made such a decision, but I can&#8217;t play if I have to play with 50% of my capacities. I&#8217;m truly sorry for the organisation and for my fans. <BR> <BR>Heading for Duba&iuml;&#8230; <BR>Justine will head for Duba&iuml; on Saturday. There she will decide wether she&#8217;ll participate or not. <BR>It&#8217;s not that serious, I don&#8217;t have an injury. According to the doctors, I will be fully recovered in three or four days. <BR> <BR>Justine still has one week to recover, before defending her title in the United Arabic Emirates. <BR> <BR>
